Summary:A modular wearable venipuncture training device (1) for use on the limb/arm (2) of a volunteer wearer (3) made up of an anatomical model (4) in the form of an arcuate subcutaneous layer (5) housing artificial vasculature 6 such as an artificial blood vessel (7) in fluid communication with an artificial blood reservoir (8) and a flexible needle resistant layer (9) below the subcutaneous layer (5) to protect the volunteer (3) from accidental needle punctures whilst still allowing articulation of the training device (1) while the training device (1) is encased in an outer needle permeable sleeve (10) to hold the training device (1) in place in a lifelike manner on the arm (2) of the volunteer (3).
