Summary:A wireless sensor assembly includes a housing defining a first aperture and a second aperture. A first communication port is provided at the first aperture and configured to communicably couple to an external sensor and a second communication port is provided at the second aperture and configured to physically connect to an external communication device. A wireless power source disposed in the housing. One or more electronics receives power from the wireless power source and acquire data from the external sensor. The one or more electronics includes a wireless module operable to form a wireless communication link, and is configured to transmit the acquired data to an external computing device by the second communication port and/or the wireless module.
