Summary:A three-dimensional optically variable object includes a lenticular foil (30) having lenticular lens formed on a first side and a lenticular image (11, 21), compatible with the lenticular lens, applied on a second side of the lenticular foil (30), opposite to the first side. The object has a surface with at least one convex and/or concave area (2) that is produced in a thermoforming process that includes thermal deformation of the lenticular foil (30) with the lenticular image applied thereon.
