Summary:Congestion in a transport facility is effectively diminished while suppressing an operational cost. An information processing system for managing information associated with services of the transport facility performs demand prediction for the transport facility, manages diagram information about the transport facility, manages fare information about the transport facility, generates a change plan of at least one of a diagram and fares according to a result of the demand prediction, and applies the change plan to the diagram information or the fare information. The information processing system generates the change plan when an amount of increase in a demand in a certain time zone is equal to or greater than a preset first threshold. The information processing system generates both the change plan of the diagram and the change plan of the fares when the amount of increase in the demand is equal to or greater than a second threshold, generates the change plan of the diagram when the amount of increase in the demand is smaller than the second threshold and a time zone for which the demand prediction is performed is a congestion prediction time zone, and generates the change plan of the diagram of fares when the amount of increase in the demand is smaller than the second threshold and the time zone for which the demand prediction is performed is not the congestion prediction time zone.
