Provided is a pedestrian warning device having a grille cover, comprising having a cavity (10), an open warning device body (1), and a sound-emitting apparatus mounted inside said cavity (10); the pedestrian warning device further comprises a grille cover (3) coveringly arranged on one end part of the warning device body; the grille cover (3) comprises at least two grille layers spaced at intervals from the inside to the outside, each of said grille layers comprising a plurality of crossbeams (31a, 31b); the crossbeams (31a, 32a) are arranged at intervals so as to form gaps (31b, 32b) to enable gas to flow between adjacent crossbeams (31a, 32a), and the width of the gaps (31b, 32b) is not greater than the width of the crossbeams (31a, 32a); the crossbeams (31a, 32a) of adjacent grille layers are in an interleaving arrangement. The warning device can protect internal component parts, and the performance of the pedestrian warning device is not affected.
