Summary:Methods of forming a curvature into a composite stiffener (300) and a forming tool (402) are presented. The composite stiffener ( 300) is positioned in a forming region (414) created by a base assembly (407) and an upper assembly (409). A first airflow (420) is applied through the material (419) of the base assembly. A second airflow (412) is applied through the material (419) of the upper assembly (409). A plurality of brackets (404) of the upper assembly (409) is moved relative to each other to change a curvature of the forming region ( 414) along a length of the forming region to form the curvature into the composite stiffener.
