Summary:In this control device (60): during synchronised operation, in which the operation of a driven shaft (551, 651) is synchronised with the operation of a main shaft (501, 601), a speed is calculated as a driven-shaft speed command value by multiplying the acquired speed of the main shaft by a specified ratio; before the driven shaft reaches a position in which synchronised operation begins, a movement amount of the driven shaft is identified on the basis of the position of the main shaft, which is calculated from the acquired speed of the main shaft, and selected characteristic data, and a speed, which is identified on the basis of said movement amount, is calculated as the driven-shaft speed command value; and when the speed of the main shaft changes in a stepwise manner during operation of the main shaft and the driven shaft, other characteristic data corresponding to the speed change of the main shaft is identified from among a plurality of stored pieces of characteristic data, and the selected characteristic data is switched to said other characteristic data.
