Summary:The inventions relates to an animal shed floor comprising at least one floor element, comprising a first and a second surface spaced apart, such that the floor element has a thickness different from zero, and multiple through holes extending from the first to the second surface, and having a first cross section in a plane parallel to the first and/or second surface, a second cross section perpendicular to the first and/or second surface, and an interior surface, wherein the first cross section changes in dimension over the thickness of the floor element, wherein the through hole has a step in the interior surface at a distance different form zero from the first and second surface, thus dividing the through hole into a first partition extending from the first surface to the step, and a second partition extending from the step to the second surface, wherein the through hole comprises an opening that opens out to the first surface, which opening is relatively narrow at at least the first surface, such that urine is allowed to flow into the through hole at the first surface and feces remains on the first surface when the floor is in use.
