Summary:The utility model relates to a tray sealing machine which comprises a sealing tool with a tool lower part and a tool upper part, and the tool lower part and the tool upper part are configured to act together to seal a packaging tray. In addition, the tray sealer includes a frame having an elevator receiving cavity below the sealing tool. In addition, the tray sealing machine comprises an elevator unit which is arranged in the elevator receiving cavity and is fixed to the machine frame through a detachable connection. The elevator unit is configured to travel the tool lower portion between a stationary position and a sealed position, where the tool lower portion is elevated in the sealed position relative to its position in the stationary position. The releasable connection causes the elevator unit to be lowered in the elevator receiving cavity. After the releasable connection is released, the elevator unit can be laterally removed from the elevator receiving cavity of the machine frame as a complete unit.
