The lawn mower further includes a hinge mechanism for connecting footplates to the lawn mower, a pivot support arm for connecting a steering wheel to the lawn mower, a movable arm for lifting the lawn mower to an upright position, the first and second axles being spaced from each other by a transversal distance.
