Summary:The invention relates to a machine tool housing having at least one housing shell element (12a; 12b; 12c) and at least one second housing shell element (14a; 14b; 14c) that is connected to the first housing shell element (12a; 12b; 12c) via at least one contact surface (16a) of the first housing shell element (12a; 12b; 12c) and via at least one contact area (18a) of the second housing shell element (14a; 14b; 14c) along at least one contact line (20a; 20b; 20c) between the first housing shell element (12a; 12b; 12c) and the second housing shell element (14a; 14b; 14c), wherein the first housing shell element (12a; 12b; 12c) and the second housing shell element (14a; 14b; 14c) forms, at least in sections, a handle (22a; 22b; 22c), in particular, a gun handle. According to the invention, the first housing shell element (12a; 12b; 12c) and the second housing shell element (14a; 14b; 14C) are interconnected along the contact line (20a; 20b; 20C) at least essentially free from visible fastening elements, in particular fixed to one another.
