A communication terminal (1b) shares data with another communication terminal (1a). The communication terminal includes: receiving means (11) for receiving display screen data from a communication management device (5), the display screen data being data of a display screen displayed on the another communication terminal; display control means (14) for controlling a display (180) to display a display screen based on the display screen data; storage means (1003) for storing operation information regarding an operation performed on an image included in the display screen; accepting means (12) for accepting an operation request for requesting a specific operation to be performed on the image; and determining means (21) for determining whether the specific operation can be performed. When the determining means determines that the specific operation cannot be performed on the image, the display control means controls the display to display a message indicating that the specific operation cannot be performed.
