Summary: | The invention relates to the use of a photovoltaic module in weak light or artificial light, wherein the photovoltaic module has a substrate, electrodes and a photoactive layer, and the accepted material is chosen from non-Fuller acceptors having LUMO energy levels of -3.0 to -3.9 eV and a band gap between 1.6 eV and 2.2 eV in combination with a donor material having a HOMO level of -4.9 to -5.3 eV and a band gap between 1.6 eV and 2.2 eV. The material system comprising non-Fuller acceptors and conjugated polymers exhibits an excellent weak light behaviour, preferably even under artificial light (having a main proportion of the emitted photons in the wavelength range from 400 nm to 850 nm). An output of more than 8 μW cm-2 can be achieved at an illumination intensity of 200 lx. |
