Summary: | An ultrasound transducer driver circuit UTDC includes a half-bridge output stage and a level-shifter. The half-bridge output stage includes a high-side transistor MP0, a low-side transistor MN0. The high-side transistor MP0 comprises a p-channel FET and the low-side transistor MN0 comprises an n-channel FET. A pullup component R1 of the level shifter includes a voltage-limiting component or circuit Zl, D1..Dn, Ql, Rla, R1b, MNclamp that conducts a portion of the current provided by a first current source MN1 of the level shifter to limit the gate-source voltage of the p-channel FET MP0 to less than a gate-source breakdown voltage of the p-channel FET MP0. |
