METHOD OF MANAGING PRIORITY IN THE CONTEXT OF A SECURE ELEMENT DOMAIN WITH MULTIPLE INTERFACES, ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
A method of managing priority in an electronic device (110), wherein the electronic device (110) comprises a contact-less communication domain (140) and a secure element domain (150), wherein the contact-less communication domain (140) and the secure element domain (150) are connected via a domain i...

Summary: | A method of managing priority in an electronic device (110), wherein the electronic device (110) comprises a contact-less communication domain (140) and a secure element domain (150), wherein the contact-less communication domain (140) and the secure element domain (150) are connected via a domain interface (190), and wherein the secure element domain (150) comprises two or more interfaces (155). The method comprises: i) detecting (by the contact-less communication domain (140)), a radio frequency (RF) field (121) of an external device (120) and, upon detecting said RF field (121) or upon receiving a first command from the external device (120), ii) sending a priority request via the domain interface (190) to the secure element domain (150); iii) receiving (by the secure element domain (150)) the priority request and identifying whether the secure element domain (150) is in a processing status, hereby iv) upon identifying that the secure element domain (150) is not in a processing status, approving (by the secure element domain (150)) the requested priority, and starting a transaction (by the contact-less communication domain (140)) in a priority status; and v) upon identifying that the secure element domain (150) is in a processing status, denying (by the secure element domain (150)) the requested priority, andstarting a mute status or remaining in a mute status (by the contact-less communication domain (140)), such that the external device (150) cannot detect the contact-less communication domain (140). |
