The present invention relates to a laundry-care appliance (100) having a door (103) for closing an opening (105) of the laundry-care appliance (100), having a wall (111), which has a door-retaining opening (139), and having a retaining device (113), which is designed to retain a door arrangement (109) for opening and closing the appliance door (103), wherein the retaining device (113) is introduced into the door-retaining opening (139). The retaining device (113) has a first mount (121-1), in which a first edge (141-1) of the appliance wall (111) engages, said first edge delimiting the door-retaining opening (139). The retaining device (113) has a second mount (121-2), which is located opposite the first mount (121-1) and in which a second edge (141-2) of the appliance wall (111) engages, said second edge being located opposite the first edge (141-1) and delimiting the door-retaining opening (139). The retaining device (113) has a deformable latching arm (123), which is arranged on the first mount (121-1) and is designed so that, in a fastening position, the retaining device (113) introduced into the door-retaining opening (139) is fastened by said latching arm, with latching action, on the appliance wall (111).
