Summary:A contextually-aware graphical avatar system includes a cue capturing assembly and a user device. The cue capturing assembly includes a visual cue capturing unit configured to generate agent video data of a human agent, and a visual cue encoder configured to process the agent video data to generate visual cue data corresponding to visual cues of the human agent. The user device is configured to receive the visual cue data. The user device includes (i) an avatar rendering unit configured to modify a graphical avatar, such that visual cues of the graphical avatar correspond to the visual cues of the human agent, and (ii) a display screen configured to display the modified graphical avatar. The system increases the efficiency with which the visual cues of the agent are conveyed as compared to receiving and to displaying the agent video data on the display of the user device.
