Summary:A heating device (7) includes an endless heating belt (22), a pressing member (23), a nip formation pad (32), a heater (31), a reflector (34), and a support (33). The reflector (34) is disposed inside the loop of the heating belt (22) and has an opening (34c) disposed opposite a first portion of the heating belt (22) other than a second portion of the heating belt (22) facing the nip formation pad (32) in a circumferential direction of the heating belt (22). The opening (34c) of the reflector (34) is disposed at a position, in a width direction of the heating belt (22), corresponding to an end of a recording medium having the largest width in recording media that the heating device (7) handles. The support (33) is disposed inside the loop of the heating belt (22) and supports the nip formation pad (32). The support (33) has an opening (33c) disposed opposite the first portion of the heating belt (22). The opening (33c) of the support (33) is disposed at a position, in the width direction of the heating belt (22), corresponding to the end of the recording medium.
