Summary:An object of the present invention is to provide an oxygen enriched burner which can uniformly heat with excellent heat transfer efficiency even at a position away from the burner, when heating an object to be heated by a self-oscillating flame, and a method for heating using an oxygen enriched burner, and the present invention provides an oxygen enriched burner including a central fluid discharge outlet (2) and a pair of first peripheral fluid discharge outlet (3A) and a pair of second peripheral fluid discharge outlets (3B), which are arranged opposite to each other around the central fluid outlet (2), a pair of openings (42a, 42b) are provided in side walls (41) of a fluid ejection flow path (4) on the upstream side of the central fluid discharge outlet (2), the distance between a pair of side walls (43a, 43b) gradually expands toward the downstream side, a pair of the second peripheral fluid outlet (3B) are arranged so as to be orthogonal to the direction facing the openings (42a, 42b) and sandwich the central fluid outlet (2) therebetween, an angle γ° formed by the central axis of the central fluid outlet (2) and the central axis of the second peripheral fluid outlets (3B) satisfy a predetermined relationship, an outlet width (D1) between the side walls (41) of the central fluid outlet (2), and an outlet width (D2) of the second peripheral fluid outlets (3B) in a direction along the outlet width satisfy a predetermined relationship.
