Summary:According to one embodiment of the present invention, a screen recording preparation method (100) for evaluating software usability using additional data (240) of a user session carried out by a computing system (300) comprises at least the following steps in an initial phase (IP): loading (110) a screen recording (200) comprising a number of N time-ordered screenshots (210) of the user session from a storage medium (310) and detecting (120) visual features within each of the N screenshots (210), wherein each of the features is attributed a position within the respective screenshot (210) and a score identifying the feature, and creating (130) a set of metadata containing an identifier of each of the N screenshots (210) and the features detected within each of the N screenshots (210) and setting (140) a threshold similarity value.
