Summary:A burner of a turbomachine, particularly a gas turbine engine, comprises at least one burner section (3) having an annular wall (10) surrounding a respective section of a burner interior (6), the annular wall (10) including: - an annular inner surface (16) delimiting the burner interior (6), - a plurality of dampening cavities (30) for the dampening of thermo-acoustic vibrations in the burner interior (6), each dampening cavity (30) being connected to the annular inner surface through at least a dampening hole (40). The invention is also directed to a method of manufacturing such a burner.
