Summary:Disclosed is an optically-controlled switch comprising: a printed circuit board including an upper layer, a lower layer, and a dielectric layer between the upper layer and the lower layer; a plurality of vias arranged in two rows electrically connected to the upper layer and the lower layer; a shunt via electrically connected to the lower layer and separated from the top layer by a dielectric gap; and a photoconductive semiconductor element electrically connected to the upper layer and the shunt via. The photoconductive semiconductor element has a dielectric state and a conductive state, and an electromagnetic wave provided to the switch is transmitted or blocked through a waveguide formed between two columns depending on the state of the photoconductive semiconductor element.
