Summary:The invention provides a daily commodity ejecting and retracting device having a new ejecting and retracting mechanism which can be made compact. An ejecting and retracting mechanism 4 of a daily commodity ejecting and retracting device 1 includes an operating portion 5 which is provided so as to be rotatable around a center line C vertical to an axis line O of a shaft tube 2 in relation to the shaft tube 2 between a first rotation position and a second rotation position, and a rod portion 6 which is coupled within the shaft tube 2 in one end portion thereof so as to be rotatable around a first axis line P1 which is eccentric from the center line C of the operating portion 5, and is coupled in the other end portion thereof to the daily commodity 3 so as to be rotatable around a second axis line P2 which is parallel to the first axis line P1. An eccentric position of the first axis line P1 in relation to the center line C is set in such a manner that the daily commodity 3 comes to an immersed state where the daily commodity 3 is immersed into the shaft tube 2 via the rod portion 6 when the operating portion 5 is rotated in one direction to the first rotation position P1, and the daily commodity 3 comes to a protruding state where the daily commodity 3 protrudes out of a leading end port 22a of the shaft tube 2 via the rod portion 6 when the operating portion 5 is rotated in the other direction to the second rotation position.
