Summary:A motor vehicle is provided that includes a lighting module configured that generates a set of symbols on the ground in the surroundings of the motor vehicle and a control device that controls operation of the lighting module. The control device automatically adapts the relative position of the set of symbols (SY) to the motor vehicle such that at least part of the set of symbols is fixed in a predetermined location on the ground ahead of the motor vehicle when the distance of the motor vehicle to the predetermined location, on its way to the predetermined location, is less than a predetermined distance. The control device controls the operation of the lighting module such that the set of symbols is already generated before the distance of the motor vehicle to the predetermined location, on its way to the predetermined location, is less than the predetermined distance.
