Summary:[Problem]To provide a mail processing device for evaluating received text data having a data structure in which text data are binarized on a per character type basis.[Solution]A mail processing device 1 comprises a learning system 2 and an evaluation system 3, wherein the learning system 2 comprises a text input unit 4, a data conversion unit 5, and a learning unit 6, and the evaluation system 3 comprises a text input unit 8, a data conversion unit 9, and an evaluation unit 10. The learning system 2 acquires text data from a storage unit 11 for storing text data of spam, normal mail, etc., and builds a learning model 7. The evaluation system 3 evaluates mail 12 to be evaluated, on the basis of the learning model 7, and detects spam.
