Summary: | The invention relates to a high efficiency energy recovery system (1) for industrial boilers (2) or steam generators, of the type comprising at least one gas/liquid exchanger (7) operating as an economizer (ECO2) for recovering heat from the flue gases exiting from the burner (5) of the boiler (2). Advantageously, according to the invention, an additional gas/liquid exchanger (4) is provided, fed by a flow of air at room temperature (8) to be used as a comburent of the burner (5) and by a percentage of feedwater (9) bled from the feed of the economizer (7).In the above-mentioned additional gas/liquid exchanger (4) the feedwater cedes a portion of the sensible heat thereof heating the comburent air; the so-cooled water is sent to an additional economizer (6) which has thus a higher capacity to draw heat away from flue gases on account of the passage through the additional exchanger (4). |
