Summary:The embodiments herein provide a vehicle body (10) having an internal skeleton (16) and a skin (18) formed over the internal skeleton, the skin including a matrix material (M) and a plurality of continuous fibers (F) encased within the matrix material. The internal skeleton may also be formed of the plurality of continuous fibers, and the plurality of continuous fibers may extend into and form a portion of the skin. The matrix material may comprise a structural type matrix, for example a UV-curable liquid resin. The vehicle body may comprise a wing shape. The plurality of continuous fibers may extend in a curving trajectory from a base end near a fore/aft center of the wing shape outward toward leading and trailing edges of the wing shape at a tip end.
