Summary:A fuel tank pressure relief valve for relieving a pressure difference between the interior and the exterior of a fuel tank, comprises first and second sealing surfaces 120, 122 which mate to form a seal between the interior and exterior of the fuel tank; a valve control mechanism; and a venting port 112. The valve control mechanism is configured to: open the seal formed between the first and second sealing surfaces when the interior pressure at the valve control mechanism is above the exterior pressure by more than a first threshold differential pressure; open the seal formed between the first and second sealing surfaces when the interior pressure at the valve control mechanism is lower than the exterior pressure by more than a second threshold differential pressure; and close the seal formed between the first and second sealing surfaces in a closed configuration when the interior pressure at the valve control mechanism is not above the exterior pressure by more than a first threshold differential pressure and is not lower than the exterior pressure by more than a second threshold differential pressure.
