Summary:Inkjet recording is performed by using an inkjet recording apparatus including an ink circulation channel for circulating a first ink, an ink supply channel for supplying a second ink into the ink circulation channel, and a recording head communicating with the ink circulation channel. The apparatus is configured to eject an aqueous ink including the first ink and the second ink from the recording head, thereby recording an image on a recording medium. The content (% by mass) of water in the first ink and the content (% by mass) of water in the second ink differ from each other by 2.00% by mass or more. The first ink contains a pigment, and the second ink contains a first water-soluble organic solvent having a log P value of -1.10 or more and a surfactant.
