Summary: | A hub (1) for a bicycle (100), the hub comprising: a hub shell (2) rotatably supported with respect to a hub shaft (5); a rotor (8) which is rotatably supported relative to the hub shaft (5); and a flywheel device (9) having two interacting flywheel assemblies (10, 20), i.e. A hub-side flywheel assembly (10) and a rotor-side flywheel assembly (20). The two flywheel assemblies (10, 20) each includean axial engagement assembly (33). The hub-side flywheel assembly is non-rotatably and axially fixedly connected with the hub shell. The rotor-side flywheel assembly is non-rotatably connected to therotor and is movable between a flywheel position and an engaged position (31) in an axial direction (30) relative to the rotor and the hub shell. Rolling members (53) are provided for defined accommodation in the hub-side flywheel assembly (10) to support the hub shell (2) relative to the hub shaft (5). The hub-side flywheel assembly (10) is connected to the hub shell (2) by means of a pluralityof threads having at least two separate axially spaced thread grooves (10e, 10f). |
