Summary:The invention relates to an electrical device (1) having a power-electronic module (2a-2f) in a supporting structure (4). The invention is distinguished in that the electrical device also comprises a stored energy source (3a-3f), wherein the stored energy source and the power-electronic module are arranged together in the supporting structure and are connected detachably to each other, wherein the stored energy source is mounted movably. The invention also relates to a method for maintaining the electrical device, in which, in the event of a fault in the module, the connection (8) between the module and the stored energy source is undone, the stored energy source is moved, increasing the distance between the stored energy source and the module, and the module is removed from the supporting structure.
