Summary: | The motor vehicle lock (1) has a falling latch (3) and a ratchet pawl (4) arranged to the falling latch. The falling latch is brought in an open position and in a closed position. The falling latch present in the closed position stands in engagement with a lock striker. The ratchet pawl is brought in a shrunken position, in which it fixes the falling latch in the closed position. The ratchet pawl is lifted out in a release position, in which it releases the falling latch. A crash element bearing (11) is provided, which is designed as a linear guide and in which a crash element is displaceably guided. The crash element bearing is scheduled to remain at the motor vehicle lock. An independent claim is included for a motor vehicle door arrangement with a gap. |
