Summary:A vacuum cleaner is provided, comprising: an appliance body (12); a suction unit (32), for generating a suction flow, which is arranged on the appliance body (12); a first connection (74), which is arranged on the appliance body (12) and is fluidically connected to the suction unit (32); a second connection (76), which is arranged on the appliance body (12) at a distance from the first connection (74) and is fluidically connected to a suction opening (24); a suctioned material container (34), which is fixed detachably to the appliance body (12); and a first suctioned material container connection (92) corresponding to the first connection (74) of the appliance body (12) and a second suctioned material container connection (94) corresponding to the second connection (76) of the appliance body (12), wherein a sealing device (116) is provided, which comprises a first sealing element (118) associated with the first connection (74) of the appliance body (12) and with the first suctioned material container connection (92), and/or a second sealing element (120) associated with the second connection (76) of the appliance body (12) and with the second suctioned material container connection (94). When there is no suction flow, a distance (98) between the first connection (74) and the second connection (76) of the appliance body (12) is greater than a distance (96) between the first suctioned material container connection (92) and the second suctioned material container connection (94) including the sealing device (116). The sealing device (116) is movable, and, when there is an active suction flow, the mobility of the sealing device (116) allows a fluid-tight connection to be established between the first connection (74) of the appliance body (12) and the first suctioned material container connection (92) and/or between the second connection (76) of the appliance body (12) and the second suctioned material container connection (94), as a result of the pressure difference at the sealing device (116).
