Summary: | The invention refers to an autonomous multipurpose installation for optimize the functioning of diesel locomotive, energy-independent from the sources existing into the locomotive, or from external energy sources. It ensures the functioning of the locomotive in all situations of railway operation and railway transport, when traction regime is not needed, both stationary and in motion, hauling a train or running isolated in operation mode, with compliance of rail regulations, aimed mainly at reducing transport costs as well as environmental pollution. The multipurpose installation, according to the invention, provides for diesel locomotives the optimization of railway operating, through four activities: reduces the time idling of the traction diesel engine when the locomotive is in operating regime, keeps warm the traction diesel engine and the storage battery when the locomotive is in the shed, participates in starting the diesel engine with battery set or with capacitors, ensures short displacement, isolate, in the railway station or in the depot by supplying 1-2 electric traction motors. |
