Summary:This information processing apparatus includes: a communication interface that communicates with another information processing apparatus; and a control circuit configured to receive a connection request through the communication interface, the connection request including an abbreviated ID generated from a terminal ID for identifying either one of an information processing apparatus being a connection request source and an information processing apparatus being a connection request destination, transmit a connection response to the connection request, and set, in a case where a connection with the information processing apparatus being the request source is established and then terminated after the terminal IDs are exchanged with each other, a connection-response-limited state where transmission of the connection response to the connection request from the information processing apparatus being the request source is limited for a given time.
