Summary:A program causes an information processing apparatus (10, 12) that includes communication control means (80) for controlling communication to a network (20), and update means (70) for updating an update target program with update data, to function as execution request receiving means (51), disablement requesting means (52), update requesting means (53), and enablement requesting means (52). The execution request receiving means (51) receives, from a user, an execution request requesting execution of a process of updating the update target program with the update data. The disablement requesting means (52) causes the communication control means (80) to disable the communication to the network (20), in accordance with the execution request. The update requesting means (53) requests the update means (70) to perform the process of updating the update target program with the update data. The enablement requesting means (52) causes the communication control means (80) to enable the communication to the network (20) after the process of updating the update target program with the update data by the update means (70) is completed.
