Summary:Embodiments of the present invention provide a service node selection and query method, an apparatus, and a system. The method includes: receiving a request message sent by UE; obtaining a usage type and selection assistance information of the UE based on the request message, where the selection assistance information includes at least one of a dedicated network type and service attribute information; and then determining, based on the usage type and the selection assistance information that are obtained, a service node that serves the UE. The service node selected in this manner is a service node that supports the dedicated network type of the UE and can meet a service requested by the UE this time, so that service success of the UE can be ensured.
