The present invention relates to an airbag housing and a safety airbag assembly. An airbag housing used in a safety air bag assembly is provided in the present invention, the airbag housing comprising: a bottom wall and a jointing part for mounting other components of the safety airbag assembly is provided thereon, the jointing part being provided with an interface formed as a through hole; and a side wall forming a chamber with the bottom wall. At least a part or all of the side wall is constructed as a hollowed-out structure. Additionally, the present invention further provides a safety airbag assembly, comprising a gas generator, a safety airbag, and the above-mentioned airbag housing. The airbag housing according to the present invention is light in weight and low in cost while preserving its strength.
