Summary:A therapy system for providing relief from chronic pain, configured to be arranged relative to the general anatomy of a spinal cord of a patient, wherein the therapy system includes:a pulse generator that is implantable subcutaneously within the patient and includes a computer-readable medium containing instructions,wherein the pulse generator is attached via a lead body to an electrode array including multiple electrodes carried by a support substrate ; orwherein the pulse generator is connected to percutaneous lead bodies, which are in turn connected to electrodes; andwherein the pulse generator is adapted to transmit the instructions and power to the electrodes to apply therapy signals to the nerve fibers of the patient to up-regulate and/or down-regulate the nerves;wherein the pulse generator is configured to generate high frequency blocking signals having a frequency ranging from 2,500 to 100,000 Hz and an amplitude from 2 mA to 20 mA.
