Summary:Damping device (14) with fixed resonance frequency, the device (14) being able to be incorporated into a component (1) of a vehicle transmission system so as to be disposed outside the path followed by the torque transmitted by said component, the device (14) comprising: - a primary component (15) that defines a plurality of primary teeth (18) projecting radially outwards, - a secondary component (25) that is able to rotate about an axis (X) with respect to the primary component (15) against the action of an elastic return force and defines a plurality of secondary teeth (26) projecting radially inwards, - a plurality of elastic return members (22) that exert the elastic return force, each elastic return member having a primary end (29) pressing against a primary tooth (18) and a secondary end (30) pressing against a secondary tooth (26), each primary tooth (18) and each secondary tooth (26) interacting with at most one elastic return member (22).
