The invention relates to a system, comprising a network, in particular an electrical supply network, a filter, and one or more drives, wherein the filter is connected on one side, in particular on an input side, to the network and on the other side, in particular on an output side, at least one electrical line is connected to the drives, wherein each drive has an additional capacitor assembly connected to the electrical line, which additional capacitor assembly is arranged on the alternating-voltage connection of an inverter, the direct-voltage connection of which is connected to the direct-voltage connection of a motor-side inverter, the alternating-voltage output of which feeds an electric motor, in particular such that the two inverters arranged between the additional capacitor assembly and the motor act as cycloconverters.
