Summary:A light-emitting module 10 includes a package substrate 12 that is provided with a recessed portion 16 having an opening at an upper surface 14 thereof; a light-emitting device 20 that is housed in the recessed portion 16; a window member 30 that is provided on the upper surface 14 such that the window member 30 covers the opening; and a sealing portion 48 that bonds the package substrate 12 and the window member 30. The window member 30 includes a lens portion 32 facing the light-emitting device 20 and a flange portion 38 that projects from the lens portion 32 and bonds to the sealing portion 48. The lens portion 32 and the flange portion 38 are formed of the same glass material.
