Summary: | A method for determining an end of a tailback in road traffic includes providing a signal quality map for a cell of a base station of a mobile radio system, where the signal quality map includes overview information about signal qualities occurring within the cell. The method also includes determining signal quality information for each of a plurality of mobile radio communication devices connected to the base station, and determining a probability density function based on determined signal quality information. A location is determined of the probability density function having a function gradient which corresponds to an angular amount of at least 75° with respect to a horizontal function axis of the probability density function, where the location is indicative of a tailback limit in the cell of the base station. A location of the tailback limit is then determined based on the determined location and the signal quality map. |
