Summary:The invention relates to a household device (1) having a cooking chamber (2) and a door (3) for closing the cooking chamber (2), wherein the door (3) has two spaced-apart door profiles (17, 18) and aclosing plate (19) at an upper edge (4) of the door (3), the closing plate (19) is connected to the door profiles (17, 18) in a shape-matching manner, wherein the closing plate (19) has two spring elements (26, 27), each spring element (26, 27) is associated with and contacts one of the door profiles (17, 18), wherein the spring elements (26, 27) are resiliently deformable in order to center the closing plate (19) between the door profiles (17, 18), and wherein the closing plate (19) and the spring elements (26, 27) are integrally formed.
