Summary:Present disclosure provides a tread for a tire having a plurality of contact element having a height H, and at least one connecting member connecting a transverse face of the contact element to the transverse face of the circumferentially adjacent contact element extending continuously through two transverse faces of the same contact element, a distance h between one of the connecting member in a groove and a radial position of the contact face being at most equal to 50% of the height H, and a material of the connecting member being different from a material of the contact element, a young modulus of the material of the connecting member being higher than that of the contact element, a distance h′ between one of the connecting member in the contact element and the contact lace in tire radial direction is greater than the distance h of the same connecting member.
