Summary:The present invention relates to a roof fitting for circulating and diffusing conditioned air, extending longitudinally in the rear part of the cabin of a motor vehicle and connected to a conditioned-air generation unit housed in said vehicle; said fitting comprising a plurality of vent openings (18) situated in its lower part and able to diffuse conditioned air toward the rear seats of said vehicle; characterized in that said fitting is suspended from the roof of said vehicle and in that it has a multitude of lateral orifices (24) able to diffuse conditioned air on both sides of said fitting in a substantially horizontal direction.
