Summary:A friction ring (10) for a multi-cone synchronous shift clutch (76) for connecting a shaft (62) to a rotary member (64) rotatably mounted on the shaft (62) is provided, the friction ring (10) has a friction ring body (12) having a longitudinal axis (14) and which is coupled in a direction of rotation (16) with the shaft (62) or with the rotary member, wherein the friction ring body (12) has a friction ring conical surface (20) on a peripheral portion (18), and the friction ring conical surface is configured to frictionally engage with a conical surface (26) of another component (24), and the friction ring conical surface (20) is oriented at a conical surface angle (30) with respect to the longitudinal axis (14). In this case, the friction ring (10) has at least one axial fluid guide channel having an extension direction which is oriented with respect to the longitudinal axis at a fluid guide channel angle which is oriented opposite to the conical surface angle.
