Summary:A toilet cover and a method for demounting and installing the upper cover assembly (2) of the toilet cover. The toilet cover comprises a main body (1), an upper cover assembly (2) which is detachably and relatively rotatably connected with the main body (1); and a connecting mechanism (3) detachably connecting the upper cover assembly (2) with the main body (1). The connecting mechanism (3) comprises a shaft sleeve (34) which is arranged in the main body (1) to form a clamping groove (31) with the main body (1), wherein the part of the main body in the clamping groove (31) is provided with a first oblique opening (311); a rotating shaft (32) which can stretch relative to the upper cover assembly (2), wherein one end of the rotating shaft (32) is provided with a clamping part (321). When the rotating shaft (32) stretches relative to the upper cover assembly (2), the clamping part (321) is in jogged connection with the clamping groove (31), so that the upper cover assembly (2) is relatively fixed on the main body (1). The toilet cover has high installing efficiency, can be cleaned of hidden dirt conveniently and makes it easy to demount the upper cover assembly (2) while repairing.
