A propeller fan comprising: a rotary vane wheel (13) having multiple blade portions (32) arranged on a hub portion (31) which is a rotor; a motor (14) for rotating the rotary vane wheel (13); and a shroud (12) having a motor holding portion (22) for holding the motor (14), wherein a ratio H/D F between an axial width H and a diameter D F at an end of the rotary vane wheel (13) is in a range of H/D F ‰¤ 0.12, a ratio D m /D F between a diameter D m of the hub portion (31) and the diameter D F at the end of the blade portion (32) is in the range of D m D F ‰¤ 0.50, a ratio P/C between a circumferential pitch P and a cord length C of the blade portion (32) is in the range of 1.0 < P/C < 1.2, and an outer circumferential side of the blade portion (32) is swept forward in a rotation direction of the rotary vane wheel (13).
