The base control system (100) is configured to plan an implement path (26) through an agricultural field (16,48,86) for an agricultural implement (14) coupled to the agricultural vehicle (12) based at least in part on at least one characteristic of the agricultural field (16,48,86). The base control system (100) is configured to plan a vehicle path (24) of the agricultural vehicle (12) based at least in part on the planned implement path (26). The base control system (100) is configured to send a first signal to the vehicle control system (102) indicative of the vehicle path (24).
